Therapist | she/her

"If you find yourself stuck in darkness, the first thing to do is find and start capturing the light."

-Bryce Evans, The One Project

Michelle provides an eclectic approach to therapy uniquely tailored to each client with empathy, a dash of humor, and optional creativity (no artistic skills required). As an art therapist and photographer, she believes in the power of visual elements to express emotion that can’t always be found in words. She is equally adept at guiding clients through talk therapy as following a tangential thread. She offers a cheerful, welcoming environment in the office or a smiling face on telehealth.

Michelle primarily works with clients navigating the challenges of self-perception that occur with life-altering chronic illness, body shame, and disordered eating, as well as the common overlap of these experiences. She also specializes with late-diagnosed or self-identified clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and the colloquial “AuDHD” co-occurrence of both neurotypes. Michelle is passionate about learning from educators with lived experience to help clients strengthen their ability to self-advocate and find connection.
