Taproot Therapy is regularly reviewing resumes for candidates that are eager to be part of a supportive and knowledgeable team while maintaining scheduling flexibility and autonomy as a licensed clinician. We require that all of our therapists practice evidenced-based therapies in a client-centered approach and look for individuals with specialized training in niche diagnoses or populations. Experience in the treatment of complex trauma required. Additional requirements include: Active license to practice in Arizona as an LPC, LAC, LCSW, LMSW*, LMFT, LAMFT* and Masters or Doctoral Degree in clinical or counseling-related field. Taproot Therapy is invested in maintaining positions for clinical interns as we believe it benefits the field through two avenues; providing education support for developing professionals in the mental health field and offering discounted psychotherapy options for clients who may not be able to afford it otherwise. While we would love to bring on every interested party we are dedicated to ensuring our interns receive close supervision and support, which limits the numbers of positions each semester.
